About Me:
Professional:
I am entering my 13th year in the Willard Schoold District. In those thirteen years I have taught 3rd and 4th grade. I graduated from SMSU (now MSU) with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. Since then, I have gone on to earn a Master's degree from Drury University in Curriculum and Instruction. My goal as a teacher is not only to teach curriculum but to teach life skills to all students. We all learn and do things a little different and I believe that with patience and persistence we can all discover our personal best in every situation. My hope is that every student who enters our classroom feels the genuine love of family and togetherness because our classroom is truly an extension of my family.
Personal:
My husband, Keith, and I have been married for 15 years and have two amazing daughters, who attend Willard North; Ashlyn is a 3rd grader and Kaylee is a 1st grader. We have a sweet dog, Molly, who is currently going through the process of becoming a certified therapy dog. Our goal is that Molly will be attending Willard North several days a week in the very near future.
When we have free time, we love to be outside! We like to ride horses, walk, run, and bike. We LOVE to be in water; swimming, fishing, boating, tubing, or just lounging. When the weather keeps us inside, we watch movies and craft.
